Supporting recovery and developing self-awareness through the Thrive Inside – ‘Meditation in Recovery’ Programme.
We help people develop a greater sense of inner comfort and safety, calmness and self-compassion, so they can relate differently to emotional pain, the effects of past trauma and the patterns that can drive addiction and unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
We offer courses, groups and workshops, both online and in person across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Sussex.

Our mission is to share the importance of meditation in 12-step recovery and support rehabilitation from offending and unhealthy lifestyles by helping people understand and heal the underlying trauma that can drive unhealthy patterns of behaviour.
“Thrive Inside – Meditation in Recovery” provides practical tools to manage difficult emotions, regulate in challenging situations, and respond rather than react from past hurt and conditioning.
We use the trauma-sensitive practice of iRest Yoga Nidra meditation, used by the US military to support recovery from PTSD. Thrive Inside has adapted iRest into simple, accessible language for people in recovery, while making it suitable for anyone seeking greater calm, self-awareness and inner freedom.
We work alongside people in 12-step recovery through recorded meditations, an 8-session recorded course, workbook and handbook, 1-1 support, and men’s shadow constellation workshops.
Working with Paul and iRest meditation literally changed my life.

I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done for me, your course has really helped me through all this (sentence) and opened my eyes to meditation. I honestly think it’s the best course in this jail.

Through working with Paul, I’ve been able to understand myself, how I function on a deeper level such as when my teenage hurts and pains act out in my 40+ year old self. This work is real warrior work. Thank you Paul.
